Charity Shield Results 2010
Our current Under 10's White team won their final 3-1 against their close rivals Northfleet Eagles Red.
Our Under 12's Blue team, unfortunately, lost their final 7-2 against Dartford YMCA.
Congratulations to both teams in getting to their Cup Finals and good luck for this coming season.

2009/2010 Success Stories
In 2009/2010, Istead United Colts have had probably the most successful season in their history, with no fewer than 7 Cup Final appearances, with 3 teams gaining victories and 2 teams winning their respective League titles.
Below is a full list of out achievements this year:
U9's Red 4th in Under 9's 'A' League
U9's White 2nd in Under 9's 'A' League League Cup Final Runners Up Easter Cup Winners
U10's White 3rd in Under 10's 'B' League Supplementary Cup Winners
U10's Blue Under 10's 'C' League Winners
U11's Red 4th in Under 11's League Easter Cup Final Runners Up
U11's Blue 3rd in Under 11's League League Cup Final Winners
U12's 4th in Under 12's League Easter Cup Final Runners Up
U13's 2nd in Under 13's League League Cup Final Runners Up
U14's Under 14's League Winners
Well done and congratulations to the boys and managers of all the teams for this years' successes. This is something that not only people involved within the Club, but everyone within the Istead Rise Community, should be proud of and shows which direction the club is going in.
U15's and U16's Paintballing
On Saturday 30th January, the U15's and U16's had a Paintballing Day at the Hop Farm.

Bat & Ball Competition
Our Under 9's Red team made it to Quarter Final's before being knocked out by the Under 9's White team, 1-0.
Our Under 9's White went on to win the competition, beating Northfleet Eagles on penalties. Well done to everyone involved.
Our Under 10's Blue team, unfortunately, were knocked out in the league stage.
Our Under 10's Red team, made it through to the Quarter Finals, but narrowly missed out on penalties to Northfleet Eagles Red.
Our Under 10's White team, got through to the Semi-Finals, losing 3-0 to Longfield Tigers Blue and then losing 2-0 to Dartford YMCA Blue in the 3rd/4th place play-off.
Under 9's Charity Shield
Congratulations to our Under 9's White team, managed by Matt Bullen and Gary Keen, who appeared in the 2009/10 Charity Shield at Dartford Park On Saturday 5th September.
The team played well, but were beaten by a good Northfleet Eagles team, who came out the match with a 3-1 victory.
Unlucky to Matt, Gary, all the players and families.

FA Trophy Success !!!
Well done to Trevor, Peter and Pete and all the players on your success. You fully deserve this year's Istead Colts 'Team of the Season' award, which was voted for by all the clubs' coaches.

Club History
The club comprises of 17 youth teams, some competing in The North Kent Junior Football Leagues, The Bexley and District Junior Football League and The Medway News Youth League.
The majority of the Teams play their home matches at Istead Rise Community Centre where we have 3 pitches, with 3 teams playing at the Northfleet School For Girls.
All teams play in Red Shirts, Shorts and Socks and change to Blue Shirts for away games if required.
The club has been established for approximately 30 years and over the last few years has seen a steady growth with teams in every age group from Under 6s to Under 18s.
We have recently achieved the F.A Standard Chartered Community Club status.
Most managers have at least a FA Level 1 Coaching qualification and are all CRB checked.
Sir Trevor Brooking's Visit
The morning was celebrated by 4 mixed teams representing the House teams from the Primary School played
in a Round Robin 5-a-side competition, with the blue team from St Andrews coming away victorious, by virtue of their slightly superior goal difference.

08/09 Under 9's Sponsored Walk
The Under 9's teams took on a 4 mile sponsored walk on Saturday 7th February in order to raise funds for new tracksuits for the boys.
The total amount raised was enough to buy both teams full tracksuits. Thanks to all the friends and families who took part and/or sponsored the boys for the afternoon.
