In 2009/2010, Istead United Colts have had probably the most successful season in their history, with no fewer than 7 Cup Final appearances, with 3 teams gaining victories and 2 teams winning their respective League titles.

Well done and congratulations to the boys and managers of all the teams for this years' successes. This is something that not only people involved within the Club, but everyone within the Istead Rise Community, should be proud of and shows which direction the club is going in.

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

In 2008/2009, as a club, we had one of our most successful season since the club was formed. We had a League winning team, a team finishing 2nd in their League and representatives in 5 Cup Finals, with 2 of them getting the winners trophies:

 

 

  • Under 7's Red Team were a close 2nd to Riverview Utd in the League.
  • Under 10's Red Team won the 'A' League by 6 points.
  • Under 10's Red Team lost 3-2 in the Supplementary Cup Final against Guru Nanak Blue.
  • Under 11's Team lost 6-1 in the League Cup Final against Sutton Dynamos.
  • Under 11's Team won 4-2 (AET) in the Supplementary Cup Final against Gravesham Town.
  • Under 13's Team lost 7-0 in the FA Trophy Final against Real Gima.
  • Under 14's Team won 4-2 in the FA Trophy Final against Longfield Tigers.
